ASOS CFO Helen Ashton stands down

ASOS has revealed that CFO Helen Ashton has decided to move on from her role at the young fashion etailer and will officially stand down from its board at the end of next month.

Ashton, who joined ASOS in 2015, will remain with the company until August, to ensure an orderly handover to CEO Nick Beighton who will cover her role until a replacement is found. Beighton was CFO at ASOS from 2009 to 2014 before being promoted to COO and, eventually, CEO in September 2015.

"The Board expresses its appreciation for the contribution that Helen has made to the Group during her tenure and wishes her all the very best in the next stage of her career," a statement said.

Prior to joining ASOS, Ashton was CEO at Capquest Group and had previously held senior roles at Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays Bank and Asda.
