ASOS founder sells shares worth £15.5m

ASOS founder Nick Robertson yesterday sold shares in the business worth £15.5m.

Robertson sold 300,000 shares but still holds more than 5m ordinary shares representing 6.23% of ASOS’s issued share capital. Last May he sold off shares worth £46m to help fund a £70m divorce payout.

In September 2015 Robertson stood down as CEO from the young fashion etailer he had co-founded in 2000 and was replaced by Nick Beighton, who had previously been chief operating officer. He remains on the board as non-executive director.
