ASOS has unveiled a new themed boards in-app feature to enable customers to organise their saved items into a series of categories to revisit and shop later.
The etail giant’s data shows that 43% of its customers using Saved Items on iOS have more than 50 items saved – with some saving as many as 500 products for later. Boards allows them to be organised under themes from Going out-out outfit Inspo to Winter coats, Autumn outfits, gym and work, gift ideas, or gathering Halloween ideas in one place.
Customers can name their own boards or use ASOS’ suggested themes and will be prompted to add products to a Board when adding something to their Saved Items. The feature is now rolling out across the ASOS app on iOS and Android globally. All customers need to do is update or download the app, by clicking here for Android and here for iOS.
Charmaine Aksakal, Product Manager at ASOS, said: “Giving our customers a better way to organise their Saved Items is one of our most in-demand features, and Boards is just a first step in the improvements we will roll out in this area over time. Future updates, from sharing functionality to new layouts and product and Board suggestions driven by machine learning, will empower our customers with fresh ways to find and share inspiration and discover their personal style.”
