Mango to open in Brent Cross later this year

Spanish fashion chain Mango is set to open a new store in London’s Brent Cross shopping mall later this year.

The brand has taken a prime location in the Hammerson-owned mall alongside brands such as Hugo Boss, Tesla, Victoria’s Secret and Swarovski and will open at the end of the year.

“Adding this cosmopolitan fashion brand to the current retail line-up at Brent Cross demonstrates continued confidence in the on-going appeal of the centre,” said Hammerson UK commercial director Iain Mitchell.

“Strong occupier demand from leading retailers reinforces the sustained significance of Brent Cross as a major London retail destination and Mango provides our loyal catchment of shoppers with a great fashion offer,” he added.

Mango was founded in Barcelona in 1984 and currently creates more than 18,000 accessories and garments a year, competing with the likes of fellow Spanish fast fashion chain Zara.
