Marks & Spencer reveals Michael van der Ham collaboration

Marks & Spencer has unveiled the latest collaboration in its M&S & series; the high street giant has teamed up with former London Fashion Week designer Michael van der Ham on a bag and footwear line that will hit stores on 14 April.

The eight-piece collection features ballet flats, sandals and heeled shoes along with bags made from contrasting fabrics including bright metallic Tweeds, which range in price from £25 to £35. Contrasting fabrics and patch-working are a signature style of van der Ham's collections, which he ceased showing at London Fashion Week a year ago.

Van der Ham is the second design collaborator to be revealed as part of the M&S & series. Last month Marks & Spencer unveiled a capsule collection that had been inspired by its own archive and which was curated by style icon Alexa Chung. It also revealed a kidswear collection designed by model Jourdan Dunn.
