MR PORTER has launched a new gifting service for the holiday season in partnership with Facebook Messenger, called MR PORTER Style Assistant.
The service is an intelligent gift finder service and transaction bot that enables customers to find the right gift for themselves or a loved one based on customer typologies and contextualised questions. It allows users to find gifts based on a desired style, product category, product mix and at the right budget before connecting to MRPORTER.COM to finish the transaction.
It expands on the upscale menswear etailer’s “The Holidays Made Easy” seasonal campaign, continuing with its “how to” theme, which was conceived to help men navigate the holiday season in style.
“We are continuously searching for new, fun and mobile-first ways to communicate with our customers and amplify MR PORTER’s service propositions, unmatched content and edit of the best product in the market,” said MR PORTER global marketing director Sabah Naqushbandi.
“With tech and innovation at the heart of our brand, we felt chat was a great new digital channel for MR PORTER to explore and experiment with to drive conversation and commerce and ultimately make choosing the perfect gift easier for everyone this year,” Naqushbandi added.
