H&M Group's new influencer-led label /Nyden is teaming up with German international footballer Jérôme Boateng on a collection which will drop next Spring.

The Bayern Munich star, who is represented by Roc Nation, is the latest co-creator to be announced by the brand, which has previously revealed it will be working with tattoo artist Doctor Woo and actress Noomi Rapace. More co-creators will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

"/Nyden understands my sense of style and shares my vision. Together, we will create a line that enables anyone to look sharp at all times – travelling on a plane or a bus to a match, a day out with family or a late dinner in the bright lights of the city. It'll be a mix of classic, casual and striking to help people express themselves without being too loud," Boateng said.

"Jérôme is a leader on and off the football field," added Stina Force, Creative Director of /Nyden. "He knows it isn't just the clothes that make the man – it's how he wears them. This makes him the perfect tribe leader to act as an ambassador for our brand. We are eager to work with him to help people from all backgrounds emulate his style and confidence."

To gain pre-access to the collection, shoppers can sign up on the brand's website to become a member of its tribe.

The /Nyden concept was revealed at the end of last year. Targeting millennials it will be creating a series of collections in partnership with influencers, some of which will be high profile and others known only to their tribes. The collections will be sold online-only or at pop-up events.
