Italian luxury house Prada, emerging British fashion talent Richard Quinn and legendary fashion designer Pam Hogg will all be honoured at the second annual Jersey Style Awards which will take place on the island next month.

The event, staged in partnership with Bentley Motors, was established by Tessa Hartmann, who made her name and earned a CBE, for promoting Scotland's fashion and textiles industry via the Scottish Fashion Awards.

Guests will be flown into the event, which takes place at the Royal Jersey Showground on 28 June, via private jet courtesy of one of the event's supporters, aviation management specialist Ortac. The event is also supported by luxury jeweller Chopard.

This latest award marks yet another accolade for Richard Quinn, who made his London Fashion Week debut in February, and whose name became known worldwide when the Queen arrived and sat front row at his show as she was awarding Quinn with the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design. Part of the British Fashion Council's NEWGEN scheme, Quinn was also recently named as part of the line up for the Designers at Debenhams initiative.

“We are thrilled to be honouring one of the best known and most loved fashion brands in the world – Prada, alongside emerging talent that is Richard Quinn. This young designer won the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design in February 2018 at LFW and made headlines around the world as it was a first for Her Majesty the Queen as she sat front row at his show. We are also delighted to welcome fashion legend that is Pam Hogg to Jersey for the first time, as we induct her into the ‘Style Hall of Fame’ for her thirty years contribution to British Fashion," said Hartmann.

“We are so pleased with the volume of entries this year, surpassing that of 2017. Ultimately, these awards are about celebrating the most creative talent and innovative businesses across arts, culture, tourism and style on the island. We will also pay homage to global players in style and this year certainly won’t disappoint with the fashion heavyweights that will be in attendance,” Hartmann added.
