Fast fashion brand QUIZ has appointed Natasha Staddon to the position of ethical compliance manager where she will oversee the company’s sustainable supply chain and responsible sourcing strategies.
Staddon brings more than 20 years’ experience to the new role and was previously ethical co-ordinator at value fashion giant Primark.
She will work closely with QUIZ’s suppliers to ensure that all partners adhere to its Ethical Code of Practice and that the rights of all workers are protected at every stage of the production process.
“Working within a business with established ethics at its core is a professional prerequisite for me. Joining QUIZ, it is apparent that their work with suppliers has developed long-lasting relationships which are based on mutual trust and expertise,” Staddon said.
“QUIZ have demonstrated their commitment to good ethical standards with recognition that these come hand in hand with business priorities, and I am passionate about ensuring that these international standards are maintained throughout their global supply chain. This is a challenge that I strive professionally to achieve daily, and I am very much looking forward to a long relationship with QUIZ, and to being part of their ethical evolution,” she added.
Staddon will report directly to the QUIZ board and her appointment comes as the AIM-listed group is experiencing a period of rapid growth.
“We’re delighted to welcome Natasha to the QUIZ team. As a brand, fast fashion is in our DNA. Our test and repeat business model and ability to design the latest looks in house are core to what we do, but with this comes a duty to ensure our products are sourced and manufactured responsibly,” said chief commercial officer Sheraz Ramzan.
“We have a great relationship with our existing suppliers and many of whom we have worked with for a number of years. Natasha’s expertise and experience will help us further strengthen our partnerships worldwide as well as ensure that our business and ethical standards are met at every tier of our supply chain – a fundamental belief for QUIZ,” Ramzan added.
