Victoria Beckham unveils Reebok collaboration

Victoria Beckham has unveiled her hotly anticipated activewear collection with US giant Reebok, which includes workout wear, footwear and outerwear for men and women.

The collection, which is the first in planned long-term collaboration, comes in shades of black, white, orange and "biscuit" and features Beckham's signature pared back aesthetic.

Beckham has said she has road tested all of the items in the line, which sell for between £29 and £500, herself. She said the line had been designed to work in harmony with her mainline and she has focused on technical details to ensure the clothes performed without compromise to their form.

“Having the opportunity to realise my aesthetic within a sportswear environment is something that I have long wanted to do. Partnering with Reebok will enable me to further promote my vision in a new category. It’s incredibly exciting to work with such an iconic brand that epitomises my belief in encouraging women to be the best version of themselves,” Beckham said.

Reebok will be hoping to achieve similar success with the line that rival adidas has achieved with its long-standing partnership with designer Stella McCartney.

The fashion credentials of the Reebok/Beckham collaboration are underscored by the use of leading photographer Mario Sorrenti to shoot the inaugural look book, which was styled by Alastair McKimm. The collection will be available for sale at Reebok.com/VictoriaBeckham.
