The Industry has unveiled a new look, a new website and a new events proposition. This new online and events platform will enable us to deliver better value and more content to members, and will also provide a firm base from which to expand.
“We have ambitious plans for The Industry and we believe our new look reflects that. Our website is now firmly content-led to enable us to grow that part of our offer considerably. It is fully responsively designed and offers us the opportunity to add more rich media including video and image galleries. Also the content is fully shareable via users’ social networks and we hope people will interact with us more as a result,” said managing director Lauretta Roberts.
The new events proposition now includes four Keynote interview events with high profile industry figures, as well as four Masterclasses with industry experts delivering insight and actionable advice for attendees. “We were clear we wanted to improve the learning and development aspect of our events and our members have told us they would value this. We have the industry knowledge and connections to deliver truly valuable content and we have thought carefully about the topics we will cover that will most help our members in their businesses,” added director Antony Hawman.
Further developments are in the pipeline, according to Roberts. “We are investigating other event platforms and expect to announce more news in the New Year and we are working with a number of individuals to improve our digital content offer. We believe we have a found a niche in delivering content, events and networking – at great value – for truly entrepreneurial individuals and organisations in this sector,” she said.
The Industry now offers three levels of members: standard (£300/year for individuals); founding (£500/year enhanced package for individuals) and corporate (£1,000/year for up to five members form one business).
